Happy Thanksgiving from the Pecan Grove Marina to you and your family.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and I hope it is one of yours. As a former teacher, we looked forward to the Thanksgiving holidays for a much needed break from our students and our students wanted a break from us teachers. But before Thanksgiving, I use to always have a test for my students and at the bottom of my test was random poem that I would get at the library. So I have picked one out for you to remember this Thanksgiving:
If turkeys thought, they'd run away,
A week before Thanksgiving Day.
But turkeys can't anticipate,
And so there's turkey on my plate!
